London Solar Pros designs and installs solar PV systems for homeowners and builders across St. Thomas and eastern Elgin. St. Thomas Solar Questions
Is St. Thomas a good area for solar?
Yes. St. Thomas gets solid southwestern Ontario sun, and the surge of new construction means many homes are built with clear roofs and panel capacity that take solar cleanly under net metering.
Can I add solar to a new St. Thomas build?
Yes. Planning solar at the build stage lets us match panel capacity and roof orientation up front, though a retrofit on an existing St. Thomas home works well too. A site visit confirms what fits.
How does net metering work for a St. Thomas home?
Surplus generation is credited at your retail electricity rate and applied to the power you draw at night or in winter, so a right-sized system can offset most of your annual bill.
Do you handle permits and ESA inspection for St. Thomas installs?
Yes. We pull the local permits, file the ESA electrical notification, and schedule the inspection, so your St. Thomas system is connected and net-metered correctly from day one.
